Tulsa County Maintenance Facilities

Tulsa, Oklahoma

The 17,000 square feet project required the design and construction of six new facilities for District 1 and District 3.

Both required an administration and vehicle maintenance facility which includes a break room that doubles as a storm shelter, a welding bay, a wash bay and multiple service bays with vehicle lifts and three bridge cranes.

The other two buildings are for storage and sander trucks as well as a concrete salt barn with an overhead canopy. The site was graded to promote drainage away from the buildings and meets EPA Stormwater Management (Section 438) requirements for increased natural water filtration.

BKL designed these six facilities to meet the specific administrative and maintenance needs of Tulsa County.
