Tulsa Police Air Support Hardesty Hangar

BKL designed a 13,430 SF hangar for the Tulsa Police Department Air Support Division. The hangar can hold up to 3 helicopters and has aviation fuel stored on site. The hangar space contains infrared heaters, exhaust fans, and active louvers as well as an overhead crane. Two large sliding sectional doors open to an apron and landing pad with FAA compliant striping and lighting. Attached to the hangar are administrative spaces which consist of a maintenance area, conference room, simulator room, lounge, kitchen, restrooms, and private offices.
